     Starting Something New:
What Are " CSA " Boxes?

In farming, CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.

Title.png

When you purchase a CSA share, you’re investing directly in your local farm. Customers buy a “share” of the farm’s harvest up front and become members who receive weekly boxes of fresh, locally grown food throughout the season.

This is truly a Farm-to-Table Program—supporting local agriculture while enjoying the freshest seasonal produce available.

🌾 How It Works

  • CSA shares are paid in full upfront, helping farmers plan and grow for the season

  • In return, members receive weekly or bi-weekly boxes of seasonal items

  • Options include:

    • Fresh vegetables & herbs

    • Seasonal fruit

    • Farm-fresh eggs

    • Optional seasonal floral bouquets

Michele  - The Heart of Our Floral & Farm-stand Creations

Osborne Mill Nursery is more than a nursery - it’s a family legacy. At the creative heart of that legacy is Michele Wildzumas, whose hands and vision shape both our floral artistry and our farmstand experience.

Michele is our lead florist - an intuitively talented designer whose floral arrangements are known for their elegance, emotion, and artistic individuality. Every bouquet she creates is custom - crafted after listening to her customer’s story, their vision, and the feeling they want to convey. Nothing is pre-made. Nothing is generic. Every piece is personal.

But Michele’s creativity extends beyond floral artistry. She is also the driving force behind The Farmer’s Daughter Farm Stand -curating seasonal produce, homemade specialty foods, locally sourced goods, and the authentic “old-fashioned farm-stand experience” that so many customers love. Her thoughtful selections, presentation, and care for quality turn the farmstand into an extension of who she is - warm, welcoming, and wholehearted.

Through both flowers and food, Michele carries forward a legacy of hospitality and handmade care - making Osborne Mill Nursery not just a place to shop, but a place to feel connected and known.
